Add to Teams Option Fix: Resolved an issue that caused the app to fail when using the “Add to Teams” option while managing apps in the App Catalog. This fix ensures seamless integration and management of Calendar Overlay within Microsoft Teams.
All Day Event Creation Issue: Fixed a bug when creating an “All day” event on an Exchange calendar data source directly from the legend menu. This fix ensures that all-day events are created accurately and without errors.
Exchange Events with Images Rendering Fixes: Addressed multiple issues related to rendering Exchange events with images:
Schedule View: This major feature introduces a new view that showcases a time-axis, with the configured calendars displayed as rows. This view offers a comprehensive outlook on your schedules, ensuring you never miss an event.
Show Calendar Name in List View: You can now enable an option to display the calendar name in the list view, providing more context for your events.
Personalized Experience: The application will now cache your currently selected view, offering a tailored experience every time you access Calendar Overlay.
Only Show Available Mode Update: We’ve refined the “Only Show Available” mode for better accuracy and user convenience. Events explicitly marked as “Free” will now be included in this mode, ensuring you capture all your key events and activities without missing a beat.
Continuous View: Our newest addition, the “Continuous” view option, allows users to seamlessly view up to 12 months of events at once. This comprehensive overview is especially handy for users involved in long-term planning and scheduling.
Show Availability: We’ve integrated a feature allowing you to display the open time slots of your Exchange calendars directly within Calendar Overlay. Spot and book free times with greater efficiency.
Grid View Enhancements: The grid view UX has been streamlined. Users can now set the number of events to be shown in each time slot before overflow is triggered. Along with this, we’ve incorporated fresh style updates to enrich your event-viewing experience.
Web Part Settings Panel Updates: We’ve made several UX improvements to the web part settings panel based on user feedback. These changes emphasize clarity, ensuring that the settings options are more intuitive and straightforward to configure.
* Please note that these new settings are not yet supported for Microsoft 365 Groups.
