Resolved Issues

  • Add to Teams Option Fix: Resolved an issue that caused the app to fail when using the “Add to Teams” option while managing apps in the App Catalog. This fix ensures seamless integration and management of Calendar Overlay within Microsoft Teams.

  • All Day Event Creation Issue: Fixed a bug when creating an “All day” event on an Exchange calendar data source directly from the legend menu. This fix ensures that all-day events are created accurately and without errors.

  • Exchange Events with Images Rendering Fixes: Addressed multiple issues related to rendering Exchange events with images:

    • Missing Body Issue: Fixed a bug where events created with only an image (using the “Image” button in Outlook) but no text would not display the body in the dialog, although the hover would show a broken image link.
    • Downloading Attachments Error: Resolved an error that occurred when attempting to download attachments from events created with only an image. Calendar Overlay will now correctly handle such attachments.
    • Broken Image Links: Fixed an issue where images in events created with the “Image” button in Outlook (along with text or HTML) would show as broken links. The app now correctly processes the special syntax for images in HTML, allowing them to load properly from the attachments list.

  • Overlapping Events Issue: Fixed an issue where events with overlapping times would overflow text onto other events in grid views.
  • Exchange Events Time Issue when Creating Events: Fixed an issue when an Exchange event was created from the legend menu and the time was not changed, the event of the time would be set to the current minute.

  • Exchange Add New Event Dialog Updates: We’ve updated the add new event dialog for Exchange events to align with the visual experience of the view event dialog. Adding a new event also now supports adding categories when creating events.
  • Added “Contains Data” and “Does Not Contain Data” Filters for Exchange Data Sources: When filtering Exchange data sources by the Category field, we’ve added “Contains Data” and “Does Not Contain Data” comparisons.
  • Calendar Legend Security Trimming: Calendar legend items no longer display when a user does not have access to the data source configured.
  • Introducing a Multi-month View: Our latest view addition, the “Multi-month” view option, allows admins to configure a certain number of months to display within a specified number of columns.

Resolved Issues

  • SharePoint All Sites Query Issue: Fixed an issue where users could not configure a SharePoint Data source to point to all sites if they did not have read access to root the site.

  • Mobile View Picker Enhancement: Fixed a bug where changing views (from list to schedule) on desktop or mobile caused the drop-down toggle menu to disappear off the page. The toggle menu for switching views is now fully accessible, including in the mobile view without needing to turn the phone sideways.

  • Title Visibility Improvement: For a clearer display of event titles, we’ve removed the time from the titles in the week grid and day grid views. This ensures a concise and streamlined view of your events.

  • SharePoint Recurring Event Issue: We have addressed a critical bug related to SharePoint’s recurring events. Due to a modulo error, yearly-by-day and monthly-by-day recurring events scheduled on Sundays were displayed on incorrect days. This has now been fixed, ensuring accurate representation of your events.

  • Add to my calendar incorrect start date issue  – We have addressed an issue related to the “Add to my calendar” feature when using a custom SharePoint list with custom columns. This bug caused the start date of events to be incorrect. With this fix, you can confidently add events to your calendar, knowing that the start date will be accurately reflected.

Users can define starts with, contains, ends with, and equals values to filter events based on the Subject of an event. Select the Meeting Organizer field to filter events based on the email address of the event organizer.

  • Fixed an issue that caused color contrast issues for certain buttons when using a dark color for section   background shading on the page.
